PULTRUDED FIBERGLASS GRIDS

Our SIESA® (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) FRP pultruded gratings are manufactured using type “I” and type “T” bar profiles, ensuring practical design and long-lasting performance.

These racks are designed to offer excellent load-bearing capacity and feature a non-slip surface, providing additional safety when walking on them.

What materials are SIESA Pultruded Grates made of?

The main materials used in the manufacture of these grilles include:

  • Fiberglass: Provides a solid and reliable structure.
  • High Quality Resins: Among the resins used are polyester, vinylester and phenolic resins, each selected for its specific resistance to different corrosive environments and its durability.

SIESA pultruded fiberglass gratings are known for their UV resistance, flammability and fire retardant properties, making them a safe choice for applications where fire resistance is critical. Additionally, they are non-conductive, making them safe for high electrical load environments.

Advantages of SIESA Pultruded Gratings

High Mechanical Resistance for Demanding Applications

One of the main advantages of SIESA® pultruded gratings is their exceptional mechanical resistance. Their structural design provides optimal strength and rigidity, making them ideal for industrial applications that require supporting significant loads and forces.

Fireproof and environmentally friendly

SIESA pultruded gratings stand out for being fireproof, offering high fire resistance, making them a safe option for industrial and commercial environments that require additional fire protection. In addition, they are environmentally friendly, as they are made of durable and non-toxic materials, which contributes to the reduction of waste and polluting emissions. These gratings comply with strict safety and sustainability standards, providing an efficient and responsible solution for various applications.

Easy installation and lightness for easy handling

Despite their robustness and strength, SIESA® pultruded gratings are surprisingly light. This feature makes them easier to transport, handle and install, reducing the time and effort required for their implementation.

Durability that overcomes adversity

SIESA® pultruded gratings are designed for long life. They are highly resistant to exposure to the elements and deterioration caused by chemicals. This ensures they maintain their performance and appearance even in harsh environments.

Uses and applications of Pultruded Fiberglass Gratings

Industrial Gratings

Pultruded gratings are widely used in work platforms due to their high corrosion resistance and ability to withstand heavy loads, making them ideal for industrial and chemical environments where durability and safety are paramount.

Gratings for pedestrian crossings

They are used in the construction of walkways and pedestrian crossings, especially in areas where exposure to chemicals or adverse environmental conditions could affect the durability of other materials. Its non-slip nature also increases safety for passersby.

Reinforced plastic gratings

Pultruded gratings are used as covers for canals and culverts due to their corrosion resistance and ability to withstand heavy loads without deforming. This is particularly useful in industrial facilities and water treatment plants, where constant exposure to liquids and corrosive substances is common.
