What advantages do our Pultruded Structural Profiles (FRP) have over steel and aluminum?
- They provide the best performance in areas where other materials corrode or decay.
- They are 80% lighter than steel, and 30% lighter than aluminum.
- Corrosion resistant, eliminating maintenance costs typical of solutions based on steel and aluminum.
- They are extremely resistant and have a useful life of up to 30 years.
- Lightweight, self-extinguishing, dielectric,
- Increase the safety of those who work near them or where high voltage is used.
- Free from the maintenance that other steel and aluminum solutions require.
Are they safe to use? Of course! You can use them with complete confidence:
Our SIESA FRP pultruded profiles were tested by SwRI, they resist high temperatures according to ASTM E-84 with a flame spread index of 15 issued by SwRI and ASTM D635, SELF-EXTINGUISHING and FIRE RETARDANT.
What are they made of?
SIESA structural profiles are a line of products manufactured in a variety of resins and reinforced with fiberglass and manufactured under the pultrusion process.
